Summer’s Must-Have Haircare Products!
July 19, 2017

Processed with VSCO with q3 preset

Now that July has finally arrived and Summer is in full swing, I thought why not share all of my amazing product discoveries from last month! Below you’ll find all the products I tried and fell in love with – thank you, June!

Drunk Elephant T.L.C Sukari Babyfacial ($80)

It took me awhile to finally buy this product (I mean, look at the price to product ratio), but I finally did it! This product completely transformed the texture of my face after one use. You wear it for about twenty minutes, then rinse and follow with an oil. All the stubborn bumps on my skin disappeared and my skin felt so smooth. The directions say to use it one to two times in a week, but I honestly think once a week is plenty.

Soko Glam 7-Day Sheet Mask Challenge Set  ($25)

This bundle of Korean face masks was AMAZING. You get 7 masks for $25, leaving each mask at the cost of about $3.60. After I used a mask a day (for seven days) my skin was glowing, smooth, and pimple free. I highly recommend trying it out!

Skin Laundry 3-1 Cleansing Oil  ($30)

I was really interested in finally trying out a cleansing oil this month, so after I got a facial at Skin Laundry, I decided to buy one of theirs. Cleansing oil is used to take off any makeup or bacteria/build-up in the pores. Every time before I wash my face, I use the cleansing oil (about two pumps), rub it gently all over my face, and then rinse. It takes off all my makeup and preps my skin for a deep clean.

Pore Beauty Nose Pack ($21.99)

Thanks to this Korean product, you can say goodbye to your pesky blackheads. It’s a 3-step process that opens up your pores to allow the removal of blackheads (using the metal tool seen in the picture above) and then follows with the final step: removing pore-build up, removing redness, and minimizing pore size. It’s a must-have!

Peach Slices Aqua Jelly Lip Mask ($3.00)

If this summer heat is making you dehydrated and chapping your lips, then definitely try this! Not only is it fun to snap a picture in, but it’s intensely hydrating!

Verb Ghost Oil ($14)

Every time after I shower and brush out my hair, I use this Verb oil. It helps my hair dry naturally with a frizz-free, shiny finish. It’s especially great for people who’ve had the Keratin treatment done!

Moroccan Oil Intense Hydrating Mask ($16)

My hair tends to get a lot drier in the summer since I swim so much more. To battle getting frizzy, dry ends, I use this Moroccan Oil mask. It keeps my hair moisturized and shiny!

CAVIAR CC Cream for Hair 10-in-1 Complete Correction – ALTERNA haircare ($12)

I LOVE this product so much. The first time I smelled it in Sephora I was hooked – the scent is an absolute dream. I especially love using this before I blow dry my hair (alongside a heat protectant) and it makes my hair feels so unbelievably soft once dried!

Benefit Cosmetics Cheek Parade ($58)

First off, this packaging is everything. It has the Hoola and Hoola Lite bronzers, which at first I thought was unnecessary, but now that I’ve continuously used this product, I absolutely love that there’s both. I use the Hoola lite over any areas that need a light bronze (possibly all over a lighter foundation if I’m fake-tanned) and then the Hoola for areas that I want to be extra bronzed – like all over my cheek bones and the perimeter of my forehead.

L’Oreal True Match Lumi Liquid Glow Illuminator ($13.29)

For those of you who like a subtle and very natural glow, you must purchase this. I like to apply it daily whether or not I am wearing foundation – it goes with any look. I first put some on my finger (a pea-sized amount) and then apply it onto my cheek bones and then blend it in with a beauty sponge.

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment Perfecting Wand ($24)

Before I apply any pigmented lip product, I prime my lips using this. It removes any dead skin cells while leaving my lips moisturized for hours! It’s especially great for any matte lip products that make my lips feel dry.

ColourPop Flexitarian Super Shock Highlighter  ($8)

If you’re a fan of a bright, yet natural glow, then this product is for you! I like to apply it over a tinted moisturizer, but first I take my fan brush and dampen it with Mac Prep + Prime Fix+ . Once the fan brush is wet, I dip my brush into the product and then apply it directly to the tops of my cheek bones, my cupid’s bow, and along the bridge of my nose. You’ll immediately have a to-die-for summer glow!
